What are your worship services like?
We strive to encourage one another and praise God with our singing, we participate in the Lord's Supper weekly, and we spend time sharing and praying together. Our preachers present a message from the Scriptures. The worship team works hard to make our song service meaningful, edifying to one another, and a glory to God. The song service includes some old favorites and some great new songs.
What about my children during worship?
An attended nursery is provided for newborns through age two on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. A "children's church" is also provided for youth three years old through first grade during the Sunday morning service.
What kinds of people go to your church?
Those who call themselves members of this congregation are without exception people who have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Each of us depends on God's grace to provide redemption and purpose in life. All are welcome here, whether rich or poor, educated or not, old or young, male or female - all are considered valuable children of God.
What does it mean to be a member?
We are so thrilled when people choose to visit our congregation. All visitors are welcome to attend and benefit from our ministries for as long as they would like. But if you decide that you'd like to become a member, here is what we ask of you.
1) That you identify publicly with Jesus Christ by:
- Admitting that you have sinned
- Confessing that Jesus is truly the Son of God
- Expressing a trusting faith in Jesus' saving work on the cross by uniting with him in baptism
- Seeking to live under the lordship of Jesus Christ
- Submiting yourself to the shepherding leadership of the elders of the congregation
- Commiting to actively support the mission of this church
