Report from the Ukhta Church of Christ for January 2006
Dear University Church of Christ Family!
Thank you for your greatest love and supporting us! It is very important for us.
It was unusualy warm fall (snow covered land only in November) but it is unusualy cold winter
(meteorologists says same frost was last time in 1927).
Regardless the bitter frost in Russia this winter, especially in the Komi Republic where we are
living it was ordinary month. It were not special events except New Year and Christmas (January 7
according Russian calendar) celebrations. It was measured rhythm and we glad this measuared rhythm.
Congregation is in a good status. Because short days (not more 4 hours) and bitter frost we decided to gather
on Wednesday class 2 times: at 11 a.m. for elderly pensioners and 6 p.m. for another members.
Do you remember I told about 3 generations from one family (grandpa, grandma, son, daughter-in-law, grandson) who where
baptised one day? Both, grandpa and grandma, Ivan and Tatyana, are very sick. Pray for them as for Nina Andreevna's daughter
who got under the truck and very injuried.
My next report will be from Ukhta. I'll be there February, 22.
Thank you for everything.
In Christian love,
Vladimir
