Report from the Ukhta Church of Christ for November 2004
Dear Brothers and Sisters in the University Church of Christ!
Thank you so much for your continuous help and support of our work.
We feel your support all the time!
Thanks to the efforts of the mission trip made by Marlon Rutherford's team
there were four baptisms in November. People baptized were:
- Nina Lysenina, who is a friend of two Christian ladies from our church named Ludmila and Lilia
- Roman Mynzul, a son of a Christian lady named Nina Mynzul. He is also a sibling brother of Maxim, who was baptized last year
- Angelina, senior lady. She is a sibling sister of two wonderful Christians named Valentina and Lidia
- Andrei, who is a friend of a Christian handicapped man, named Alexander Gubanov
Sensational News!!! Retired KGB colonel (I will not name him by his name) has brought a huge bag of clothes and shoes to the Church of Christ. He has learned and decided to participate in our project of collecting and distributing clothes and shoes to very poor people! This project has been going on for many years now. This colonel is an old patient of mine. His 30-year-old son has diabetes. I prescribed insulin for him and treated him.
Maybe this is the first incident in the history of the KGB, but it is not the first one in the history of the Church!
We have addition in our Christian family! Marina Kopeina gave birth to a daughter. Olga Zaikina and Olga Rocheva are going to have babies in December. Our young congregation has never had so many newborn babies yet.
In November an agreement with our second renters was re-established. Unfortunately, one room was not rented out. This will decrease our monthly budget by $200.00. This is a very significant number for our budget.
God's will, I am planning to begin my trip to Ukhta in February 2005.
May God bless you!
With love and thankfullness,
Vladimir
